Surface Design Workshops at PRO Chem
All of our workshops are held at PRO Chemical & Dye in Fall River, Massachusetts. Our building is air-conditioned in the summer months. The workshops run from 9:00AM to 4:00PM each day, with additional time to work independently after the formal instruction.
Workshops are open to all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, unless noted in the course description. We limit the size of our workshops to 14 students, to ensure maximum benefit and personal attention.
PRO Chem provides a complimentary lunch daily.
Tuition: To guarantee your space in a workshop, the following deposit(s) must be received with your registration.
1 day workshop = $50
2 day workshop = $100
3 day workshop = $150
4 day workshop = $175
5 day workshop = $200
The balance of your tuition must be paid 30 days prior to the beginning of the workshop. A late fee of $50 will be charged if the balance is not paid on time. Cancellation Policy:
Refunds: If you cancel from a workshop up to 30 days before the beginning of a workshop, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
No refund can be made after that time due to faculty contracts, housing and transportation arrangements.
PRO Chem reserves the right to cancel a workshop without sufficient enrollment four weeks before the scheduled date. Please register early to avoid disappointment!
We encourage you to read and understand this new cancellation policy before you register online or by mail, phone or fax.
Transportation:
If you are flying, the Providence airport is the closest to Fall River, with about a half hour's drive. Logan Airport in Boston is not as easy to get in and out of as Providence and is about an hour's drive depending upon the traffic.
Lodging: Housing is not within walking distance to the classroom.
A list of accommodations in the local area is available upon request. Upon arrival at the motel, you are responsible for payment of your room and for transportation to and from the hotel to PRO Chem. Please call or email us to be put on our waiting list, for any classes that may be full.
Your credit card does not automatically get charged for the full amount of tuition stated for each workshop. Your credit card will only be charged for the tuition deposit, once we receive your registration and process it in-house.
